It's important to realise that when you're going on an extended travelling trip - anything longer than the average 2-week holiday really - you're going to need some down-time between the wild adventures and frantic sightseeing.
Today we took a leisurely walk along the harbour and stumbled upon a beautiful spa hotel with an incredible breakfast menu. I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know that we LOVE food and you'll continue to see a considerable number of photos of the variety of cuisines we'll be sampling over the coming months.
Lorna really wanted some buttermilk pancakes - and they did not disappoint! I however opted for another masala dosa which I may or may not have chosen again for dinner...but hey...if it's not broke...
As this is an ever-evolving trip we also dedicated some time today to planning future stages of our adventure. We have been focussing on planning the Indonesia leg of our travels in April; scheduling tours to Mount Bromo, to see Komodo Dragons in the wild and possibly even going diving with Manta Rays(!) - so please keep following to see our updates.
Some time has also been spent on various reviews for the places we have stayed so far. So much of our travels has been based on other people's experience of hotels, restaurants and attractions that we think it's only fair to give our own feedback and help to inform our fellow travellers of the future.
